The Psalmistry
1. Look upon me in my suff'ring,
deliver me, Lord.
I have been faithful, my God!
In accordance with Your promise,
preserve me, O Lord!
Know I am true: that I love Thy Law.
Refrain
Thy compassion is great, Lord!
I know you are there.
Always there, Lord.
There for me!
Your Word is eternal,
I trust in its care.
It is there, Lord
There for me!
(Ending: There for me, my dear Lord!)
2. How many the troubles
that persecute me.
Yet to Thy Word, I am true!
Woe be to the wicked
who turn from Your Law.
How blessed, Lord, are those who seek after You!
