The Psalmistry
1. My Lord, you are my refuge and my shield.
My Lord, I put my hope in Your Word.
Though surrounded by evil,
yet shall I e'er be true
unto You.
2. Sustain me in Thy promise of salvation.
Sustain me, that my hopes be realized.
For in God, I'm delivered.
I always will be true
unto You.
3. Behold, this is the fate of the wicked:
Like dross, they are discarded by God.
My flesh trembles in fear, Lord.
I quake before Your law.
I'll be true
unto You.
